Catherine Howarth, from Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, is the only black woman in the world with two white children.

She stunned doctors in June 2014 when she gave birth to Jonah Howarth, who has fair skin and blue eyes.

And in March 2016, the 34-year-old beat million to one odds again when Sophia – who also has pale skin and blue eyes – was born.

Now you are probably wondering, how did this happen. How did a black woman give birth to 2 white babies. Well, unknown to Catherine, she is carrying a recessive fair skin gene, from one or a few white ancestors in her heritage, but the recessive white genes would have never shown themselves in any other previous births, as no one ever had a white partner until now.

Doctors have told Catherine, according to their records, she is the only black woman in the world to give birth to two white babies.
